Q: What did you learn about the guys in the locker room from the win on Sunday against Kansas City?

A: We’re going to definitely fight back. Just a lot of guys stepping up and just trying to be better – better teammates and better players on the field.

Q: There’s still a long way to go to get back to respectability, right?

A: Yeah, correct, we’ve got a long way to go, but we keep working at it every day. Day-by-day, week-by-week, game-by-game, we’re going to keep on improving.

Q: Did the defense feel like themselves on Sunday?

A: Yeah, definitely. We were playing fast, we were on the same page. We played and did our job to the best of our ability and everybody did what they were supposed to do, so that was the best thing about it.

Q: How important is it to keep the momentum going on Thursday night against the Redskins?

A: It’s a long week, but at the same time, we’re not thinking about the week, we’re just thinking about playing the game and just being back on the field and being our best. Being our best us and by doing so, we’re going to take the momentum that we took from playing against the Chiefs and from that point on, we’re going to sit down and have the mindset of what we did and how we got. Hopefully, how we got those two wins, we harp on it and keep that going.

Q: What does Thanksgiving mean to you?

A: Thanksgiving means, really, just to be thankful for just the opportunity that I have to open my eyes each and every morning. To be there for my kids, be accountable for them and be grateful for every opportunity that I’m getting today.

Q: What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving dishes?

A: My all-time favorite is ham. The ham is the best part, with the pineapples on top. But the best part is baking sweet potato pies with my mom.

Q: Can a short week help carry the momentum over from a win on Sunday?

A: I think so. You just kind of got a win and you kind of still got that hype behind you. Not as in a good hype, but behind each other and that good feeling that we can do this again and we want to just showcase it right then and there and we’ve got the opportunity to do so. I think so, yeah.

Q: Does playing on national television help keeps guys focused?

A: Yeah, I think so too because at the end of the day, it’s primetime. Everybody’s watching that game, it’s Thursday Night Football. So at the same time, yeah. You’re representing this organization and at the same time you’re representing yourself and you don’t want to get embarrassed in those type of games.
