We've had a few but, I never got the impression that the bad HCs from Giant's history were actually trying to damage the team.
I am not sure if I am getting paranoid since Monday night but, it seems like Mac knows he is getting fired after this season - and he is being spiteful. Trying on purpose to damage the team's morale and some of the relationships between the players and management. Is it possible?
Benching Eli for Geno Smith .... could he be this stupid? At this point - he forced their hand. They have to fire him.
McAdoo is not the worst Giant's head coach ever, but he is not ready to be a head coach and maybe never will be. He is surely a bad one right now, but he is very smart offensive coach who is undermined by a rigid mindset. He wants to bend the players to his Plan, and he has no Plan B. His lack of flexibility mentally dooms him. He also needs to become more of a leader of men, which has undermined him badly this year.
Remember, though, that Bellicheck was a poor head coach in Cleveland, but he grew after that. McAdoo needs to go, but he may come back to be a good coach somewhere after he matures if he chooses to learn from his mistakes.
That was a mirage, lots of luck involved. McAdoo sucks. He is the worst leader and communicator I have ever seen in the HC role. Frankyl whatever wins we got last season were in spite of him, and because we had a fairly veteran team. I bet it will come out that the players are ignoring what he tells them to do.

So he lucked into 11 wins? Haha...
I give very little credit to McAdoo for last season.
His offense was 26th in points per game and 25th in yards per game. Meanwhile, the defense, which he does not run, was second best in the league in points per game allowed and 10th best in yards per game allowed. If it was the other way around and McAdoo's offense carried the team to an 11-5 record, I'd give him the credit.
