Former players

Seems like former Giants players have come out more strongly in defense of Eli than his current teammates. OBJ ....silence. What does that mean?
Do you expect the current players who are employed by

the Giants to criticize the Giants?
This was asked the other day in another thread

Current players are most concerned with their chance to earn a job next season, especially after a year like this. IMO they’re just being careful not to say anything that might hurt those chances
Of course

It always comes down to Odell
Yeah current players

are being careful in the media as Geno and Webb are their teammates too. Some have gone to McAdoo directly. Odell has been off the radar generally since his injury but I'm sure given his longstanding relationship with Eli going back to NOLA days they are in contact
Also the current

players for the most part don't have the championship history with Eli. They only know what they have seen in the past 3-4 years with Mcadoo's offense.
If McAdoo is canned,

along with Reese (please sweet baby Jesus), THEN it could get interesting, as far as possible curret players commenting.
I have no problem with Odell staying silent on this

and other things. I think that is a good thing.

agree. OBJ with a closed mouth is a good thing
Not sure

You can make an argument both ways. You can't deny OBJ has power because the it is evident they let him get away with a lot. If think his opinion could impact how the Giants handle this. To me his silence says something. If he were publicly back Eli it would make a difference and he is probably the only player who the Giants could make regret that public declaration.
ugh
