NFT: Anyone ever try a CAP steak?

I really want to try one, but haven't found a store that sells them. Any advice on how to purchase one?

Rib cap. or rump cap? Rump cap is also called picanha, or sirloin cap. I know I've seen it at the Restaurant Depot, I also know that unless you have a RD card, that info is of no help.
Picanha would be easy to find in a market that specializes in Latin/Brazilian foods.
Rib cap is probably easier to find from a specialty butcher. Sorry, I'm not a whole lot help here.

I meant the rib cap. Wasn't aware of a rump cap.

And it's delicious. It's the top part of the "top sirloin".

Costco makes this cut frequently, and has USDA prime at something ridiculous like $6 a pound. Cut against the grain and it's outstanding.

You can get a Rd card. I'm a contractor and I have one. Find a local butcher for your cap steak. Search at eat wild.com
