I've kept pretty quiet even with all the hate throw my way through the draft and the start of the season and there is no doubt I like Frank and think he can blossom into a very good NBA player a few years. The George Hill comp looks good and that is fine, but in 3 years we may look back and say wow we passed up on a top 10 player in this league when it was not even that difficult of a pick to make. Donovan Mitchell is an absolute beast, dropped 41 the other night and his shooting percentages are getting better and better. Also plays good def with 6-9 wingspan and will distribute the ball and rebound. Anyone been watching him play, if you are bball fan he is already near the top of NBA league pass must watches.
Donovan Mitchell is a beast

Perfect fit in Utah with a great great young coach in Quinn Snyder
I do feel Frank will develop He’s just so young

More importantly. Tanking is the most important thing for this franchise and it might not be too hard with Hardaway out for awhile and lingering injuries to KP and Kanter

Besides tanking I hope
Kanter signs extension
Courtney Lee and KOQ get traded for draft picks and or expiring contracts
Dotson gets valuable playing time
Trey Burke gets brought up
He looks damn good so far.

It's been fun tracking these rookies. The guys at the top are having their struggles, with the exception of Tatum, who was a lock to be an impact guy. Should've been the #1 pick.

Mitchell and Smith are ahead of Frank, no doubt - worth mentioning, however, that Mitchell is two years older. Frank is very much the project we anticipated on offense.
Agree Frank

Frank needs to stop hesitating and just go
Other teams passed on Mitchell too

Just move on. Frank was the pick. He's a knick. There's a lot of career left for both players.
Knicks are struggling

It's what they always do after a pretty good start to the season once again. This year should be different though as i think they will end well assuming everyone is healthy. Upper 30s in wins. Probably Picking in the teens. Not great but KP has taken a big step forward and it looks like hardaway has staying power. Kanter is a piece. This season will serve a purpose. Key thing is Frank needs to play a lot and gain a lot. Knicks need him to develop a consistent offensive game. If he can he's gonna be a good pro.
Wouldn’t expect them to play well without KP

And Hardaway. It’s too much talent missed.
yeah, Mitchell has surprised me

I know a couple of guys on here were touting him. Can't remember who. But a good call.

the league

Beal.... 51! 21-37

Lillard 30,8 and 9... somehow I think this guy is STILL underrated. He's a superstar and nobody really talks about him like one

Len 14 and 7.... pretty incredible 9 rebounds per game over 22.2 minutes. For all of the Kanter/Rodman stuff, Kanter 10.5 over 26 minutes, Len may yet carve out a nice career, still only 24

Poeltl 13 and 5, quietly a very nice soph season... 70% from the field!!

VanVleet 13 and 6, another nice find by Toronto

Mitchell 31, 4 and 5... looks incredible lately
Here is a good read
