NFT: Any teachers from the NYC area?

Koldegaard : 12/7/2017 4:15 am
Hi guys.

I work at a boarding type high school here in Denmark. We will be going to NY on March 21st-28th.
We have football (American), basketball, TV and dance students. And we will be a group of around 115 students and 15 teachers.
So my question is if any teachers around here could arrange a meeting/tour of their school for around 20-40 students. I am part of the basketball and football programs. We would love to just see/experience an American high school/juco.
We will be staying in Manhattan around 42nd street (YMCA Vanderbilt).

Furthermore if anybody is looking to get rid of Knicks/Nets tickets in that time frame shoot me an email. Both teams are charging BIG bucks for tickets as of now.

why not go big and try to contact the Giants? It could end up being a special day for some of the students to get to see the inside of Metlife, the hall of honor (or whatever they call that place with the trophies and memoribilia).

The fact that you are coming from Europe and they want to get into that market couldn't hurt.
I can forward it to my sons school.

No promises. There will be lots of policy on these things.

Manhattan based.

probably a better way to build the Giants/NFL outside the country than to have teams play in London or Mexico. lol
Thanks guys :-)

I really appreciate it.

I wouldn't know who to contact within the Giants organization. But it would be amazing. Does anybody have an e-mail or should I just go through Giants.com

at Barclays?

Tickets are really cheap on the secondary market, though that may not work if you need 11 seats together etc.

Sales are decently slow for face value seats and I'm sure a sales rep would work with you

Been trying to find one. Looks like you may need to write a letter or call.
I linked their contact page.

FWIW, seeing how Denmark is a big maritime nation (Maersk/AP Moeller), the United States Merchant Marine Academy is probably only 30 to 40 minutes away on Long Island and New York State Maritime College is actually in the Bronx. You probably have a full schedule anyway.
