Q: Are you confident that you can play?
A: What do you think? Let me see what you think. You think I’ll play? There’s your answer to that.
Q: What happened to your finger?
A: Whatever it is, I’ll be alright. I’ll be out there playing on Sunday.
Q: Will you be limited at all?
A: I’ll be out there playing Sunday. I’m ready to go.
Q: Is this something that you’re worried about long term?
A: No.
Q: Why not?
A: Because I’ll be out there playing Sunday.
Q: Will you be wearing extra padding?
A: Oh yeah, but I’ll definitely be at full go.
Q: How much can it heal?
A: It doesn’t matter. I’ll just be out there playing Sunday.
Q: Do you think you’ll have to wear a club again?
A: Maybe, yeah.
Q: What has this week been like in here?
A: Guys coming into work and ready to get after Dallas. We want to win this game so that’s what it’s been like all week. It hasn’t really been a big change, but guys are just ready to get after it.
Q: Does the fact that it’s the Cowboys make it easier?
A: No, it’s a division game still. I just think that everybody is ready and very excited to play. So we’re not just going to lay down. We’re all going to come out here and do our best at 100 percent.
Q: How do you think Steve Spagnuolo has handled his first week as the head coach?
A: It was a quick turnaround. It’s something that happened to him that we didn’t expect and I think he’s dealing with it pretty good. He rallied his troops up and everybody is listening to him. As of right now, he’s our head coach and we’re behind him 100 percent and we’re ready to go play for him.
Q: Besides changing the schedule, have there been any other big changes?
A: No, no big, major changes. Our goal here is to win and every day we come here, we think we are winners. So we definitely have to play it game by game, but our goal this week is to win this game. So they ain’t going to change.
Q: Can you take any motivation from ending the Cowboys playoff hopes?
A: Not really. Like I said, it’s a big game, regardless. So we’re definitely going to be out there playing and they’re going to be playing to stay alive, so it’s going to be a good game. So we’re going to go out there and do what we got to do. Steve is still going to be calling the calls still. Going to go out there and play. Rally up the troops and let’s get it going.
Q: Is it important for you personally to have a few big games to end the season?
A: Every game is big for me, man. It ain’t just important for these last few games, every game is big. The season didn’t go quite as everyone thought it was going to go, but at the end of the day, when you step out on the football field, you’re still a pro and you got to approach the game that way. You can’t be lackadaisical over here. At least I approach the game that way. Like I said, we’re going to be ready to go this week and we’re excited.
