NFT: My wife Mel passed this morning.

ctc in ftmyers : 12/12/2017 5:12 pm

She wanted to come home and went under hospice care yesterday afternoon.

She was here at 5pm and after a trying night passed at 7:50 this morning. Her last wish and thankfully I was able to make it happen.

I remember you discussing her illness when we met and I was impressed by your devotion to her.

I've been married 26 years now and we're beginning to age so I've given thought to what life will be like if she goes first. It would be very difficult for me. Hope you are able to find peace, comfort, and happiness as you manage through whatever solitude life brings you.
