Linebacker Devon Kennard

Q: How much do you have to take into consideration the fact that thereís a new player at the quarterback position for Philadelphia?
A: Theyíve had a lot of success this year, so I donít imagine theyíre going to change a whole lot of things up scheme-wise. They might tweak a few things here or there, cater it to their quarterback. But, weíre expecting them to come out and do what they do best and what theyíve been doing all year.
Q: Have you caught a break with Carson Wentz not on the field?
A: I donít know if itís a break, you know, Nick Foles Ė heís a great quarterback as well and heís done a lot of great things in this league and I think heís definitely capable. But, Carson was playing at an MVP-type of level. So, I donít know if Foles is going to be able to do that well, but hopefully not. Not this Sunday at least.
Q: Didnít you face Nick Foles as a team before?
A: Yeah. I believe so. Yeah.
Q: With the Eagles, right?
Q: Do you remember much from facing Nick Foles before?
A: Not a whole lot. It was a different system. Yeah.
Q: Do you take much from what he was able to do there?
A: Iím sure the coaches will go back and look at some things, but theyíre a new team, new players and he has a new crew all around him. So, I think theyíll use him a little differently.
Q: What are the challenges in dealing with LeGarrette Blount?
A: Everybody has got to get to the ball. Heís a guy thatís hard to get down with one person and you canít expect heís going to be down, so everybody had to swarm to the ball and tag off on him as many times as we can.
Q: Is it hard to believe that you guys were so close to beating a team that is now the top seed in the conference and now itís kind of crumbled?
A: Man, that just goes to show whatís happened to us this year with some of the losses weíve had. I feel like that game when I think back Ė that one hurt. And, itíll be nice to pay them back this week.
