Don't see this being reported elsewhere, but the Giants will work out Saskatchewan QB Brandon Bridge. If they like what they see they could bring him to camp under the special arrangement between the two leagues. Bridge was undrafted out of South Alabama in 2015 and spent the past three years in the CFL after being cut as an undrafted free agent by Dallas. Bridge also hasn't played much in the CFL until this year when he replaced injured incumbent Sask starter Kevin Glenn. In fact, he played very well and figures to be Sask's QB of the future if and when he returns to the CFL. This year, Bridge completed 67% of his pass atempts for 10 TDs versus 4 picks in the relatively pass-happy CFL. He's a tall kid with a strong arm although he does have a bit of a hitch in his delivery. He is also a really good athlete who can make plays with his legs. Probably would have been better if he'd gotten more PT up here, but he's an interesting kid with some tools and upside.
Yeah, what's the effin' point?
CFL is a step up
Maybe that comparison makes no sense!
He could never make it in the CFL
He’s only allowed 7 pressures since taking over the starting job, second best in the league in that span
They may be doing someone a courtesy in working the Bridges out.
