Q: What happened on the three blocked kicks last week vs. Philadelphia?
A: Poor fundamentals and that’s on me. So, I’ve got to get that corrected. The PAT, we missed that and then we ended up chasing those points all game, which makes it really tough to play. I thought the offense, defense played their butts off and we didn’t come through.
Q: Did Philadelphia do anything schematically to cause the blocks?
A: No, we prepared for what they were doing. So, the first one they got us and the second one, we were kind of overcompensating for what they did the first time and they got us on the outside. So, good rush by them, poor protection by us.
Q: How do you get kicker Aldrick Rosas’ confidence back up?
A: I feel bad for the kid because he’s getting those blocked and he’s on time, the rise is there. So, I think he’s fine with that.
Q: How tough of a game was that for you last week, leaving five points off the board?
A: It’s awful. It’s awful. Its’s more than that, you’ve got the blocked punt that led to a touchdown. I feel awful. So, it’s the way it is.
Q: On the blocks, did somebody miss a block, or what happened?
A: The first time, they got us outside and they overcompensated inside and they got us on the outside. So, that’s what led to it.
