Who has the best resume of available coaches?

bLiTz 2k : 1/6/2018 12:09 pm
Fans such as you and I are exhausting over all of these potential coaches, hoping that our team makes the right pick. Its a scary proposition because we all know the wrong choice can set the franchise back more than a few years.

With that said, the #1 thing we have as fans to go by are their resumes. Which available coach do you feel has the best resume? This is putting their potential and intangibles aside for a minute.

--My choice is Shurmur and I don't really think its even close. This is a guy who has been successful literally everywhere he has been, and aside from being the victim of a full house cleaning by a dysfunctional Cleveland team after a brief stint, I think he has the most impressive track record.

Thoughts? Who has the best resume for you?
Leader, leader, leader.

Nothing else matters. You can find good coordinators.
John Fox and Mike Shanahan.

.
Smith’s resume is just weird.

Look what he was doing the first 17 years of his career. 12 seasons at Tennessee State - mostly coaching special teams - did not presage a bright NFL future. Compare that to what guys like Fox and Shanahan were doing in their 30s.

Smith does boast a nice regular season record, though his performance in the playoffs removes some of the shine. Also, Quinn’s record, since inheriting a team that went 10-22 the previous two years, is actually better.
