Jim Schwartz having personality issues again in Philadelphia

twostepgiants : 1/6/2018 4:02 pm
“At the very least, the optics aren’t favorable. One Eagles staffer said the only coach who probably doesn’t think Schwartz is trying to undercut Pederson is Pederson. Three players, who requested anonymity, said that it’s become well-known in the locker room that Schwartz is waiting to usurp power.

“He walks around the building like he thinks he’s the head coach,” one player said”

This is not the first time as he had that weird issues. With Lions he ha a “handshake spat” with Jim Harbaugh and he was recorded cursing about it on the field. In Buffalo he asked his defensive players to carry him off field after beating the Lions he used to coach 17-14 in week 5 win. (I wonder why he didnt ask for a Gatorade bath? What a huge win, right?)

And now he was forced to answer awkward questions about “usurping power” in Philly.

“I am very comfortable with my relationship with Doug Pederson. And I know he’s comfortable in his relationship with me.” - Schwartz

That response reminded me so much of McAdoo on his relationship with Mara.
“I’m confident and comfortable with the way we communicate and our open lines of communication.’’

Of course, McAdoo was fired days later.

Im not sure what is the state of things in regards to Schwartz in this search but I for one wouldn’t even consider Schwartz. Too many consistent personality issues

That article came out in September but I don't doubt it's true.

Winning cures a lot of ills. Or more likely, Schwartz isn't dumb enough to try and make a power play when he's got no leverage. In any case, it's a reason i don't want to see him here. Between that and asking to be carried off the field in Detroit after he was fired, he just seems like a slimy little shit.
I don’t think he’s a serious candidate here

He’s got serious personality issues, just add this to the pike.
He's a great candidate to interview.

The Giants will ask him to tell them what he thinks about their team...in detail, and he'll provide feedback that will help them make plans for the future.

Just one thing though...he'll probably not be hired IF that personality of his is as acerbic as advertised.
You don't say?

I wonder what all the smart ass contrarians who were arguing he was a good candidate have to say about this. Sept or not
Schwartz and Mayfield would be perfect. Two small men with a complex
