Brandon Silvers QB Troy

I think he might be a steal in later rounds ,and if we go with Eli and Webb

Wouldn’t mind spending a draft pick on him

Thought on this kid ? Nice story here from Archie Manning when

They beat LSU.....

Boylhart gives something like 50 first round grades every year. He gave Wheeler one last year.
I like Boylhart

But he does this every year. He picks a few players who he ranks as first rounders that everyone else has as mid to late rounders.
Haven't found too much video of him, but . . . .

I posted the following at the link below.

He looked very good in video, certainly one of the more exciting QB prospects. But Sy didn't like him, which concerns me.

Grade A arm...doesn't know where it is going
Logan Woodside from Toledo.

I’d grab him in the 2nd.
Wasn’t there a promotional thread on this guy last week?

How many publicity agents does he have?
Hey
NikkiMac : 1/7/2018 2:56 pm : link

Football and football players and I wouldn’t mind being
His agent or any other for that matter lol

Sy that’s great care to elaborate a little what do you mean

..doesn't know where it is going ?
I watched one of the Draft Countdown Videos

Of Silvers. Probably in reaction to an earlier post. That and my utter lack of involvement in football (aside from as a fan) makes me an expert.

He looked really good to me, including making one of those Phil Simms throws where the ball drops onto the receiver perfectly, just over the defender. Nice!

His stats for 2017 were -

63.9% comp. 3290 yards 17 TD's 7 Int.

The link below is to a 2016 game against Ohio He trows a couple of balls he shouldn't have trying to fit the ball into too small a window and gets picked off. But most of his passes are on target with good touch. And his passing appeared to improve in the earlier video of the game played in 2017.

So I'm not sure what Sy means when he says he doesn't know where the ball is going. But I'm sure he's seen a lot more than these.

It looks like he might have the tendency

To throw off the back foot but I think like Sy56 said does have good arm .....
Don't watch highlight videos,

almost any QB is going to look good, that is the point of them. You can find edited YouTube videos on most top QB's to show all of the QB's passing plays in a game - good and bad.

I watched a video of Logan Woodside's game against Miami in 2016, and I was really impressed. Toledo had a significant talent gap, but he showed good poise in the pocket, even as it often fell apart around him. Very good arm, can make all the throws. He made a number of beautiful deep throws, most of which were dropped by his WR's.

The downside, Toledo plays a spread, so he doesn't have much (any?) experience playing under center, and he is a little smallish. 6'2, and a little skinny. He could definitely beef up his legs, but he would be a great project if the Giants decide not to go QB in rd 1.
