We got to talk about something might as well talk about
Football and football players and I wouldn’t mind being
His agent or any other for that matter lol
Of Silvers. Probably in reaction to an earlier post. That and my utter lack of involvement in football (aside from as a fan) makes me an expert.
He looked really good to me, including making one of those Phil Simms throws where the ball drops onto the receiver perfectly, just over the defender. Nice!
The link below is to a 2016 game against Ohio He trows a couple of balls he shouldn't have trying to fit the ball into too small a window and gets picked off. But most of his passes are on target with good touch. And his passing appeared to improve in the earlier video of the game played in 2017.
So I'm not sure what Sy means when he says he doesn't know where the ball is going. But I'm sure he's seen a lot more than these.
almost any QB is going to look good, that is the point of them. You can find edited YouTube videos on most top QB's to show all of the QB's passing plays in a game - good and bad.
I watched a video of Logan Woodside's game against Miami in 2016, and I was really impressed. Toledo had a significant talent gap, but he showed good poise in the pocket, even as it often fell apart around him. Very good arm, can make all the throws. He made a number of beautiful deep throws, most of which were dropped by his WR's.
The downside, Toledo plays a spread, so he doesn't have much (any?) experience playing under center, and he is a little smallish. 6'2, and a little skinny. He could definitely beef up his legs, but he would be a great project if the Giants decide not to go QB in rd 1.

He played well in the bowl game
He will be in the senior bowl for a closer look.......
Boylhart gives something like 50 first round grades every year. He gave Wheeler one last year.
He looked very good in video, certainly one of the more exciting QB prospects. But Sy didn't like him, which concerns me.
