Some (including myself) have thought Wilks could bring Carolina quarterback coach Ken Dorsey as his offense of coordinator to whichever team hires him.
Today, a report from Alex Marvez on Twitter states that if Minnesota's Pat Shurmur is hired as a head coach, he will bring along Dorsey as his offensive coordinator.
That’s the only connection/link I can think of.
Shurmur didn't start coaching in Cleveland until 2011, and was fired in 2012.
If that will translate into being a good OC but after McAdoo there is nowhere to go but up.

Ok. Interesting choice for him. I wonder if Shurmur would look at Spags for his DC.

It's Shurmer's offense that he'll be working with. He knows the offense and it will be easier to translate it to the new offense.

Ken Dorsey is well respected and reportedly very smart. I am not sure

If Shurmur gets the job I hope he calls the plays. No disrespect to Dorsey but Shurmur has been an excellent play caller.

But Dorsey was in Cleveland from 2006 to 2008.

Hope not.
