i have a chance to get into a 2014 320i with low miles, for around $350 month with just few hundred down. it has a two year bumper to bumper warranty too.
anyone here bought similar certified bmw, mercedes, or caddy cars? i dont plan on having the car more then few years, it just the lease deals on entry level luxury cars are way too high right now.
any info advice would be great. thanks
I've bought CPO

Audi and Mercedes. I think it's a good deal if you plan on keeping the car for only a few years as everything is covered under warranty and often the routine service is as well. Don't buy new, let someone else take the depreciation hit

The 3-series has gained weight over the years and the "20" is the smallest engine -- might be a little under-powered. That said, the aluminum 6-cylinder version is balanced around 50/50, and handles like a go-cart.
Did you drive it ?? Stick or Auto ??

These cars are designed to be essentially maintenance-free for the first 100K miles or so. After that, there's some items that need to be "refreshed" as they euphemistically say. I have an older 5-series, once I took care of those few issues it's been like a brand new car to me.

Is that a purchase? A lease?

How long? What are the terms? Impossible to evaluate.
Not sure how you can go wrong?

Sounds like a great deal. I have bought CPO before but, paid for it outright and have ZERO regrets. Got a good deal and am still driving the car today 120,000 plus miles .... and still going strong.

That’s $25K+ In payments for a car with a value around $17K

That's just the financing though no?

What do you want? To borrow $$ at 0% interest?

That works out to an interest rate around 15%. Current rates for used cars are under 5%.
Granted, it was 16 years ago

But in 2002 I bought a certified used BMW 323i. Had around 38K miles. Right after I bought it, shit started going wrong. Much of it was covered under warranty, and after 15-plus years I honestly don't recall whether I had to pay much out of pocket. Then, after I moved out of my parents' house and was no longer near the dealer, I discovered that I was still on the original tires and they needed to be urgently replaced.

In addition, BMW had a problem with their power windows where the window motor conked out after about 5 or six years. Over the life of the car I spent over $1500 replacing all four window motors (one of them twice).

The car ended up running fine for the most part over the next 13 or so years that I owned it, but the experience was such that I'd never do it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
"72 months"

That's always the deal breaker for me.

$350 per month is amazing for a newer certified pre owned BMW, however it's always a bad idea to do 72 months.

60 months is the highest amount of months anyone should go, otherwise you can't afford the car.

So much can happen between months 60-72. $$$$

This, I never go over 48 unless its free money. I got 60 months at 0% a few years ago on my wifes Subaru. They have gotten much more popular so those deals will be hard to find. Wait until May/June, thats when they have to move the prior years models.
We got CPO BMW a few months ago

2016 435 convertible (now the same car would be a 440) with 5 or 6k miles. We got about 25% off sticker. We got that free service like you're getting. We did 6 years financing because we got 1% interest from BMW. Plus my wife says it's her dream car and she'll keep it for 6+ years. We'll see.

I don't know what sticker was on your car, but I would compare purchase price to original sticker. When you look at purchase price, make sure they show you all the fees (dealer fees and whatnot). Don't get so caught up with the monthly number that you lose sight of what you're really paying.
