A bit late to this dance on Netflix, so apologies if there's been extensive chatter here about the program. As a huge Twilight Zone fan, this show is hitting all the right notes for me. My wife and I binge-watched this past weekend ... saw probably 7-8 episodes.
One thing about it - man, it's an emotional watch. Really well done.
I was skeptical of USS Callister as it rolled out, but it's now my favorite episode. White Christmas is a tough watch. So much good stuff, I know it's going to be one of those programs I'm bummed about when I've watched all the available episodes.
Definitely a strong recommendation.
Anyone else watching (or watched it)? If so, your favorite episode(s) ... preferably without big spoilers.
Think I only disliked about two episodes. Metalhead was one.
Black Museum was fantastic.
We went out to dinner that night and tried watching ... but I fell asleep. lol Gotta go back and watch that one all the way through.
But the first episode of the new 4th season called "USS Callister"?
Absolute Grand Slam! Watched the same episode again the very next night with a friend who was also blown out of the water.
Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad/Fargo), the lovely Cristin Milioti (Fargo) and Jimmi Simpson (William from Westworld) all do an excellent job in a near future twilightzone dramedy that will not disappoint anyone, especially Star Trek fans

Yes. Thought it was great.
Yes. That one and White Christmas are my favorites (but man, is White Christmas dark. I liked Shut Up and Dance, Playtest and San Junipero a lot as well.

White Bear's ending...still can't go over that one!
Agree with Brett, Metalhead is okay. Just not a black mirror episode. Dogs were cool though.
White Christmas, Playtest, White Bear are my favorites in terms of twists and plot
The Entire History of You and Be Right Back are favorites in terms of cool technology and futuristic situations.
Have HBO on your cable subscription? Use HBO GO.
Be Right Back ... was, damn. So good, but kinda freaked me out.
Clearly, this is actually already happening, so it's somewhat disturbing. Makes you look at social media differently - harder, and with more scrutiny regarding just how deeply you place an emphasis on this stuff, and the role it takes in your life.
Terrific episode, IMO.

I watched one episode on a recommendation from a co-worker, Episode 1, Season 1. That was some pretty demented stuff with the pig-loving. Not sure I'm up for much more of that.

for the first episode of the series. Good concept, but a little too much and could have been a lot better. But I understand why they went the direction they did. Just didn't sit right.

By far the worst episode in my opinion. Not the only disturbing episode but definitely the only one disturbing in that sort of way. Give it another go.
Check out some of the ones mentioned here and see what you think.

Yeah ... that was downright gross. lol
Most of the rest of the episodes are much more creative. That first episode was probably loaded up that way to get a lot of conversation started.
My son showed me parts of an episode much farther into things, so when I started at the beginning, I was a little surprised, too, but I knew there was more to the series.
Yeah, but for the kid ... wasn't he just a kid looking at porn? Maybe I missed something there ... was he looking at younger people?

Was absolutely insane. Yet I could totally see that being pulled off in real life.

He was looking at kiddie porn which is why he had no’s choice but to do what they said.
When he initially wanted to include the story in a book he and Teller were writing, the publishers nixed it because they viewed it as being too dark.

Thanks. Haven't seen that one yet. Looking forward to it.
White Bear was pretty terrifying. But wouldn’t she die of malnutrition eventually?
Anything akin to The Manchurian Candidate?

In the soldiers heads last night. That was terrifying episode. I won’t spoil it, but our military could be scary in a few more decades.

Not sure, its been a very long time since I have seen that movie. Here is an episode synopsis if you want to spoil it.
Men Against Fire - ( New Window )
That would be awesome. Don't care for his show but he's clearly talented after seeing "Get Out" which is like a long episode of the Twilight Zone as it is..
I liked every episode even metalhead , those dogs were pretty scary but nothing like some white Christmas
I was totally wrong then. Thought it was I Corinthians 13 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: ...".
The plot lines are very intriguing, I'll probably pick up on new ones.
Agree 100%
"Stealing my pussy is a red fucking line!"
Good writing. Flip-flopped my feelings for the characters by the end. Very well done, with a relatively small budget and sci-fi environment.
I'll probably watch more. But the English accents were too hard for my gf to follow (not a native English speaker).

freakin' epic!

Of all the awesome/crazy things about this episode, one of them is when you realize that the length of it is the same as a shorter feature film.

No accents in USS Callister. Or White Christmas. Two of my favorites so far.
I also liked one of the newer episodes a lot, about the speed dating. Dunk the DJ, or something like that.
It's a lighter episode than the others, but still well done.
