Haven't bought new clothes in a while (longer than I realized) and I needed a new pair of jeans. Found a pair that were advertised as "flex" jeans. Put them on and they fit like a glove.
THEY HAVE ELASTIC IN THEM!
Apparently jean technology has advanced at the speed of light in three years or so since I last bought a new pair of pains. I've always had muscular thighs so trying to get nice fitting jeans always resulted in a baggier or looser fit than I intended.
These jeans are a game changer. They are incredibly comfortable and look good too.
Am I the only one that is late to this game?
Well, the first time I wore them to a BBQ, a few people ripped into me for wearing fake khaki's. I guess they're not so stylish. Now I strictly wear them for golf and around the house.
brooks brothers even makes a "stretch" suit that has "give" in it with elasticity in the waist, butt, and other danger zones.
you shouldn't tell people you wear those. and be proud of it.
they're like wearing the husky sized jeans as a kid (not that I know anything about that).
You just want to see his muscular thighs
They look like regular jeans

Haha naw man. They can’t be for fat people. They were skinny stretch jeans. My legs are like small young tree trunks. These hug them beautifully.

See this was my impression before I saw them. You could not tell these are fake jeans or whatever you want to call them. They are denim. They also just stretch somewhat.
I can’t fathom buying a pair of denim jeans without elastic ever again.
I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly.
Exactly!

Actually, it’s the opposite. You’re thinking of the old elastic waist jeans for fatties. These are tight jeans for skinny people. They have Lycra throughout so they can fit tight but still have give.

Exactly. I should have specified that it is stretchy through the legs not the waist necessarily.
I have a bunch of Buffalo David Bitton six jeans and they are comfortable as hell. Get them tailored/altered properly. Agree with the OP.
Mugsy Jeans. You're welcome.
I cant imagine what its like to have to wear adult diapers, but I admire your courage to share this information about yourself. Hopefully someday the clothing manufacturers will truly be inclusive and put out a pair of jeans that look good, even when covering a set of "full" underwear.
Figured it was just new to me!
Sometimes, right? I mean, I'm not saying they're like spandex all down my leg, but they are tight enough around the hammies/glutes but loose below the knee. They look better than I'm describing them. More importantly, they feel fantastic!

Ha, I did not. I actually picked up these from Target. First pair of pants I've bought there and they're not bad at all. I plan on hitting up the Gap or somewhere similar to see if I can find ones that look stylistically a little better than these. The brand is Goodfellow, which I've never heard of before trying them on.
Plus they were like $25. Can't really go wrong, right?
DAMN IT. I went to Old Navy in the fall to stock up on some t-shirts and stuff and can now vividly remember walking past their jean section and scoffing at whatever 'flex' marketing words they were throwing in my face.
Jokes on me!
Much better that stiff, heavy denim. I don't know how anyone can wear pants like that. They're so fucking uncomfortable.
?
About 15 years ago or so Crane had to start buying virgin cotton because practically all blue jean fabric now has some lycra content which makes it useless for making paper.
This is definitely true. I went to buy some pants for the first time in a few years recently. Tried on the size of my old pants (which fit well) and I was swimming in them. Had to go a size down.
NTTAWWI.

Exactly where I expected this to go
