overcoming an insurmountable 7 point deficit with 10+ points to go, never thought they could do it
Oh god, let it go. You've done the same thing 5000 times.
Just own your mind numbing comment. It would be the equivalent of me as a Yankees fan in 2001 saying the game was over because they were down a run in the 8th inning.
I know you're stuck in Mets fan mode, but just own the comment and take the ball busting and enjoy your win.
If I ever post something like that about a team that has won over 50% of the last 9 titles, please call me a fucking moron.
Georgia disnt have to do much in the second half but they did nothing, absolutely nothing and it'll haunt them for a very long time.
a case study about importance of winning the 4th quarter, half-time adjustments, and defensive plays. Nothing here should be too shocking, Bama is a team that plays all 4 quarters even if not perfectly.

LOL, why are you so hung up on this?
All I said was I think they need to get in the endzone otherwise the game could get away. Georgia had converted like 80% of their 3rd downs at that point and the defense had spent so much time on the field.
I didn't say the game was over when they settled for three. I didn't turn the game off.
What a move to go to the back-up, true freshman QB in the 2nd half. That could have totally back fired. Saban shows his stuff. Again, great football game. Outside of the QB Tua, two DT's stood out in this game. Payne from Bama and Thompson from Georgia impressed me big time. I would take either on our team.
what kind of coverage that was, someone had to not get the right call because he was open by 10 yards on 3rd and 27.
Fun game, but this is just old and this is probably the worst team Bama is going to have for at least a few years.
Georgia got fucked bad by the whistle, but 2nd and 27 you can not give up a touchdown
Cover 2. Safety just shit the bed. Tua said he looked him off, but there was no one in the general vicinity to "look him off" to. Safety has that deep half of the field and was in no man's land covering no one.
that had to be for Georgia fans there. I almost know the feeling being at the final four in 2016, but this has to actually be worse, they haven't won in nearly 40 years and Bama doesn't look like they're going to stop anytime soon.
Add in the prices they paid to see it, too, oooff.
Alabama looked like garbage and then came back and won it with a true freshman QB, RB, and LT in the 2nd half.
The thing about college football is that a program like Alabama basically has a whole 2nd team of studs sitting on the sidelines waiting to take over. Dalvin Tomlinson was a 2nd round pick and didn't start until he was a senior!
Pulls the QB who’s been the starter all year. Didn’t even give him one series to turn it around. Made the move. That’s just great coaching and it got them another Natty. Roll Tide, Roll!

I was prepared to kill him for that, but it worked immediately.

Like Chamberlain's swinging gate at Gettysburg. Pretty gutsy call to pull a player who, I believe they said, was 25-2 as a starter. But he knew his men. I was pulling hard for The Bulldogs, but hats off to Alabama.
Feel bad for #14 Georgia. He won't ever want to watch that game.
I hope some Saban haters saw his post game presser. Â
He was extremely gracious and humble.I keep beating this drum, but he’s actually a really good guy. The public perception that he’s such a jerk is just not a really accurate perception. He’s testy at times, but who wouldn’t be in that business. I’ve met him, and he’s very shy, but that shouldn’t be confused with being a jerk. He’s a nice humble guy I’m person. Reminds me of Jim Boeheim. He come s across as a jerk to some people, but that doesn’t tell the whole story.
Totally understand that people find it hard to root for ‘Bama. If I didn’t have a connection to ‘Bama, I’d probably root for Georgia too. They’ll be back. Fromm is excellent and they have the top recruiting class coming in. And Kirby Smart is going to continue to build a powerhouse.
guys like Hurt can't transfer to be able to play the rest of his college career.
Sure he can. He can transfer tall an FCS school and play right away, or he can transfer to another D1, but have to sit out a year. If he goes that route, after sitting out a year, he will still be a junior eligibility wise.

Yea that was nuts. I don’t know why you don’t run a safer call in that spot and make Bama’s Kicker force double OT.

just pathetic defense
Yeah, that's really unique to college.
I'm actually just really happy for Pappanastos. That poor kid was never going to hear the end of it if they had lost this game.
He would have gotten the Steve Bartman treatment.
What a game.

No way Hurts does that....
What does "10+ points to go" mean?
I respect the hell out of him, but if you're not a Bama fan, why would you ever be happy for Saban?
Sincerely,
Jaken Hurts

He either tied or surpassed one of Bear Bryant's records. That is an incredible accomplishment.

I'd rather lose by 50.

He keeps pounding his critics into submission.
And now he may have a quarterback.

Going out on a limb. He’s a sure fire lock to be a top 15 pick according to every scout in the universe
