gun to my head, I'm picking 'Bama. In the past when they've been beaten I feel like the majority of the time it's against a quarterback that can move which creates another aspect for their defense to prepare for.
This is obvious, but turnovers are the key. If Georgia can generate field position and/or points off turnovers then they will be in great shape (obviously)
Fromm has had a hell of a season, but if this football game is a grind it out, run the ball, wear the other team out type of game with limited mistakes, I'm inclined to pick Bama.
That said, the 2 headed monster at the running back position for Georgia is a force so we'll see.
If only because maybe it makes Saban think about finally taking the Giant job.
Seconded. Same reason I rooted for them two years ago in the first Clemson game. Plus I like watching greatness. What Saban has done down there is nothing short of amazing
it's fine to make statements about the team -- don't roll it over at posters. It is escalating and straying over the line. You may be having fun - but nobody else is
if one can't make fun of Arc's absurd fandom of Alabama (at least my wife attended UNC and has a Swahili degree to show for it) -- then what can we make fun of around here??
Though as a fellow NYR/Mets/Knicks/recent Giants fan -- I don't blame Arc for finding a bandwagon to climb aboard.

I was waiting for this! Got it out of the way nice and early. Good man.
I adore you -- and arc -- but you always lean on joking around. Unfortunately, a lot of posters find it offensive and abusive and don't share your's and arc's view of it, because we get complaints about it. It's a little different when you do it on a hockey thread -- where all of you share the same hilarity.
I am therefore begging you to make comments about the sport, the team, the players, the umps and the plays --- and refrain from throwing insults at other posters
AL.com had a report last week that Tagovailoa was going to see snaps in the Sugar Bowl, but it never happened - presumably because Bama got out ahead and controlled things steadily from there.
I wonder if Saban will consider playing him at all tonight if they struggle offensively or fall behind.

Have you seen Tags play?
Lefty can really spin. Such a better passer than Hurts...
is ESPN doing? All three of the ESPN channels have this multi screen with a bunch of screeching taking heads!? This has to be some plot to appease A.D.D. millennials...

Yes, I love his skillset - much, much better passer than Hurts. He's not a statue, either. He can move. He can throw accurately on the run. He's going to be an exponentially better prospect than Hurts.
He was better in the Crimson/White game all the way back in April.

Jesus, I thought I was the only one who found those games watchable... ; )
Saban in his jacket and tie standing behind the QBs is priceless...
Fuck Georgia.

I'm joking around with arc, gid. Come on now.
Exactly. Good lord.
Thanks. Some people make a habit of attacking other posters. Attack what they say, fine. Personal attacks should not be permitted.

Deleting the UAB post was totally uncalled for.
Regardless. I'll keep it to the game.
Save B
and arc too!
If they win the turnover battle, and get this crowd on their side early, they will win...big advantage with their FG kicker...

Third'd
Did Herschel just wake up or something?
Fromm got hit when he threw it otherwise it's probably a walk in.
That's not very nice hoya.

Regular ESPN is normal for me.
The freshman has the tools, but you never know until the bullets fly. Hurts has the physical ability to be a very good passer too, he just isnt
