2) 20 years of coaching experience. He has been an assistant head coach and an interim head coach. He has worked under several different head coaches.
3) He has worked with McDaniels. He might shed some light there
4) He was formerly with the Giants, so they might be giving him an interview to help him know the process. Keep in mind it was Steve Wilks interview with the Rams that put him on several teams radar this year.
5) Its possible that they might bring him back to fulfill another coaching position. He has done quite well with running backs during his tenure in the NFL.

I don’t know if #5 makes much sense. The assistant coaching staff is usually determined by the head coach, so Ownership and GM interviewing him would do nothing in terms of landing him a role as an OC or RB coach on whoever is named HC’s staff.

Good post. I hope #5 is the real reason. Just my opinion
No, because we're just fans and don't have all of the information. Â
as a candidate for another role, and want to use the interview to learn more about him. It isn't unheard of. Cleveland interviewed McAdoo for the HC position when he was a TE coach for GB. It can be a good way to get intel on a guy you don't know well.
Awaiting confirmation...
Studesville was the interim head coach for the Broncos after they fired ... Josh McDaniels.
