It seems as if they should move on it. Maybe they have . I guess they could not announce it if the coach is still in the playoffs. So no info could mean it is one of the guys still alive in the playoffs
RE: any Info on when they are scheduled to decide? Â

Nothing that I've seen... only speculation from some of the beat reporters.
everyone is jumping to the conclusion that we dont have one picked cause the pats are still playing we cant make a move.
worried we have our guy but cant move yet. will be inteesting to see if anyone of the other 3 teams makes a move before patrica and Mcdainels can make their choice. Strange that there seams to be 4 guys for 4 spots
if we offered Wilks the job then he interviews at 2 other spots before accepting?
I think if, we offered him a deal and he said I will let you know when Im done visiting teams.
then I would have said good luck and withdrawn the offer.
Why?
You need someone who wants to coach this team. If we after interveiwing yhe other top candidates made the decision to offer him the job now instead of waiting till the other guys were avaiable we would be telling him strongly that he is our guy.
Him going on more interviews tells me that feeling isnt mutual and he is only coming here as a last resort
The favorites at this point appear to be Wilks and Patricia.
Multiple league sources on Wednesday afternoon still believed that Patricia ultimately ends up with the Lions.

Good. I want Wilks’s Leadership ability in this lockeroom. Don’t care how good Patricia might be with the Xs and Os. The HC is about leading people and handling situations. Coordinators need to be Xs and Os guys.
one thing overlooked with many of these candidates Â
is what is their plan, who, and how quickly can they build their staff? I'll bet McAdoo did not have that skill, likely why we saw holdovers. Given that assistants are leaving and interviewing this next coach has to have experience, can lead, and has a plan to build his staff. Which of these guys can do that quickly? What would be very unfortunate is to see a new HC and holdovers from previous staff.

So that would contradict what Lombardi said about Mara wanting an offensive coach. Also Mara mentioned he’d prefer someone with a more lengthy tenure as a coordinator than the 1 year Wilks currently has in Carolina.
Shurmur doesn’t really do it for me either. The 2 guys in New England worry me because other than Saban, Belichick’s coaching tree resembles the weeds you find in your yard in August. It’s a bad year to be searching for a head coach, in my opinion. It feels like the NYG are going to settle instead of making an inspiring hire.

Anyone thinking they know the leadership qualities based on third party reports isn't using very sound logic. Not to mention there are as many articles out there discussing Patricia's leadership and the respect he has in the locker room.

That would seem to indicate that it is one of the three who cannot be offered the job, namely Shurmur McDaniels and Patricia
I’m thinking the PTricia rumors might be true

Withdraw it because he did something completely reasonable..?
1. Patricia
2. Shurmur
3. McDaniels
With The Emperor as a wildcard

I'd love Tom Cable involved in the offense, mainly as oline coach.
Some pretty good assistants available out there.
