Another first-round running back enters the draft — #LSU RB Derrius Guice
Round 2-3 per Walter Football. running back reviews - ( New Window )
Maybe 1st rd to high 2nd rd but doubtful in the 3rd rd.
I will bet anything he is in the first. He is similar in style to Elliott with the production. He was banged up this year but still produced. People liked him more than Fournette last year (Fournette was banged up last year and Guice was awesome).
I would take any one of Guice, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, Bryce Love, Kerryon Johnson, and maybe even Ronald Jones. Those are some really good running backs that we can pick up in the second of third round, and possibly one drops to the fourth. We are at the top of every round this year, so in my mind a 2nd round grade can easily be had in the 3rd.
IIRC, Sy'56 recently pointed out that this is a deep RB class, so we shouldn't have that much trouble finding a good back to improve Gettleman's run game. Lineman however, I am extremely interested to see how they grade out.
I mean we say that just about every year but we could wait to the 3rd and get a starter.
It does seem loaded. Not that Walter is the be-all, but they have Rashaad Penny of San Diego State as the 12th best back in the draft, and Penny looked pretty darn good in the bowl game that I saw.

I definitely would not touch either at where we pick in the 2nd
