It is true and yes by having grandfather and father have kids while they were in their seventies plus their own extremely long lives it makes for a very interesting point of fact. Tyler was born during Washington's presidency. So a living "link" to the 1st president...

John Tyler had a son at age 63. And his son had one son at 71, and the other at age 75. One is in his 90s. The other will turn 90 later this year.
