So the Giants can hire their HC already. I am tired of the waiting and speculation. I want the HC in place so he can get to work filling out his staff and the GM can turn his full focus to FA and the draft!!
or get wind of one of them making an back room agreement to move faster. I think all teams looking to hire are obviously now in a wait mode. If Detroit wanted Vrabel, I think they would have acted already. He might be the back up plan. Maybe we hear something more definitive after this weekend when teams have a day to rest.
The world doesn't need to see the Patriots in another Super Bowl.
I'd also say the world doesn't need to see the Steelers competing for a 7th SB. I would love to see a Vikings and Jax SB where it is a defensive slugfest.
They will both advance. Eagles will beat the Falcons. Vikes will advance past Saints. Then the Vikes will Beat the Eagles without Carson Wentz. If Wentz was playing the Eagles would win. Just my opinion. The Pats will beat the Steelers and play in the SB yet AGAIN. Pats will win the SB against the NFC team that I think will be Vikings. Vikings will chase Bills for most SB losses. So if either MP or PS is our next Head Coach we will not know until February.
Are not beating the falcons.. No chance without Wentz
I have a hard time saying an ATL team on the road is unbeatable. Especially IN Philly...colder weather...outside...and the Eagles have good players on offense and defense. I'd probably reluctantly take ATL in this game but people are going overboard with the ATL love/Philly disrespect. Pray I am wrong, but I wouldn't be shocked in the least if Philly won this game rather easily. ATL has been weird all season long and usually weird catches up to you in the playoffs.
Shanahan left the Falcons after the Super Bowl to San Francisco and that didn't hurt anything.
Dan Quinn left the Seahawks after the Super Bowl to Atlanta and that didn't hurt anything.
If a guy is going to get a job and already has a working agreement that they just can't announce yet publicly, he already would be working to have his staff in place during this period.

So if the Falcons win, I would be as happy as a lark. I think Philly in that match only because they will be the Home team. I think the Vikings are better and can win a road game there. But if the Falcons beat Philly on the road we could see a re-match of last years Super Bowl.
because I was saying that if the Giants go into Superbowl weekend without a head coach, then there is a small chance it could be BB.
^^ What I did right there was assume that the Pats were playing in the Superbowl. Automatically gave them two playoff wins. Then, this thread was a reminder that they need to win this weekend and then next weekend first.
Maybe that will slow the "Giants must draft a QB" this year obsession.
Remember when Collins was the QB and half the fan base said we didn't need a QB? Then they drafyed Eli, and all those know-nothing fans were pissed? Then Eli won two Superbowls?
The fans may want a coach right now, but there is no football coaching need for a coach (see above post).
Any coach coming in has to establish credibility with the players. Having been part of a Super Bowl winning effort would provide that coach with a lot of credibility - getting players to do things his way rather than a 3-13 way.
I am thinking Shurmur, after a Vikings Super Bowl win would be the safest choice and the Giants need safe right now.

Care to bet on this???

What is the rush?

"OLD Farts" (Brady vs Brees)
Maybe that will slow the "Giants must draft a QB" this year obsession.
^^^This.
Hey, now that could happen. See that Navy F-18 video last week? Just ask Randy.

Yeah, that was pretty cool.

That would be fucking epic though wouldn't it lol

Would hold up the game even more. I have to work the next day. 😜
