Do you think the 100 million Gruden deal helps or hurts

the Giants. I would think the revenue in Detroit, Arizona, and Indy is not equal to the Giants with the New York market. Of course that did not stop the Raiders in their market from paying the big bucks. If like most things it comes down to the dollars, do you think the Giants will be willing to pay big bucks?

The Giants play in a major market, flush with cash, and the salary cap is not impacted by coaches salaries. Having said that, I don't believe any of the candidates the Giants are considering, will receive anything near what Gruden is getting, as none have as extensive/successful HC track record
Oh yes, I would agree but I also think the market for a coach

went up with the Gruden deal. Even for a first time coach who is being pursued by two or more teams.

Bump McAdoo’s salary by 20% for Patricia or anyone else without HC experience. McDaniels, Shurmur, Schwartz, Mike Smith get added 20%.

Belichick, Cowher and anyone else who got a team to the SB a couple of times get close to Gruden but not for 10 years.
If as reported Patricia is the top guy in both NY and Detroit, it may

come down to some serious dollars for the winner. If the Giants know who their guy is, its not Patricia because Detroit is not backing off.
