A proper O-line. running game, and a more flexible offensive scheme that suits his ability and HE WILL DO IT AGAIN. Stop judging Eli by the asshole coach who tried to destroy him. What is WRONG with some of you people? We have Webb as the backup. WE do not need another QB!

what a shit take. this was 10 years ago.
eli is 37, move the fuck on. he is not even a top 15 QB at this point. i love him, but father time takes no prisoners.
and getting a penalty in the 2nd half. Prior to that, the Dallas OL was having their way with Stray, Osi, Tuck and Kiwi. From that point, those D-lineman started savaging Romo
This was also the game Corey Webster game of age Â

100% right. Give him Barkley and a decent oline and the team will be in the playoffs.
Right after the McQuarters pick. The flight erupted in cheers for me as I got on the plane in my Giants gear. One of the coolest moments I’ve experienced from a fan standpoint.
1st in the NFC and of course media darlings. That was one anxious 4th quarter, but the D held! Great win not only because it was a playoff win, but you eliminated a division rival who's team and fan base thought they were a lock for the Superbowl.
I loved how much Jacobs hated the Cowboys. It wasn't about laughing together and trading jerseys after a game back then.
After this, I knew they'd win the Super Bowl. I know 2011 was "All In" but I was really "All In" for this one.
Before the playoffs: Lets beat Tampa and see what happens -Everyone else. I'm just glad they made it this far
Nah fuck that lets see them win the entire thing -Myself
LOL. I watched this game with my ex-girlfriend. The type who cheered for the other team just to annoy me. I loved how they shut her mouth, such a beautiful day. Oh, and always great beating the Cowboys as well.
Some cool things to note: Patrick Crayton with the drop of the ages. Does the NFL even have that anymore? Big mouthed #2 or #3 WRs like Crayton or Freddie Mitchell?
The Amani Toomer touchdown right before the first half ended. Man what an important drive that was.
How quickly that Dallas team became after the Giants beat them though...
thankfully for Giant fans Jerry ran him off with Owens and Wade Phillips was the coach of the 2007 team. The Cowboys dominated that game everywhere but on the scoreboard. One of Eli's greatest games. Box Score - ( New Window )
In my apartment. My roommate at the time liked football but was more a casual packer fan. To say I was an absolute wreck during this game would be an understatement. I swear I didn't breathe during the 4th quarter. I didn't move either. I sat in a ball on my bed.... muttering to myself like a lunatic. When mcquarters picked romo I fricking bellowed... couldn't even cheer. Then i hugged and humped my tv.
One of the most relieving and joyful moments of my life. Then it got better with two more wins. I will thank the universe for that moment until my dying day.
said before that watching this game was the last time I ever spent with my late father. We watched it at his assisted living facility. The game ended at about 8 PM EST. I went home, and he went to bed. He died the next day from a heart attack at 10:15 AM, ten years ago tomorrow.
RIP dad. God bless. Miss you. Mom as well. It will be 20 years for her on April 13.

Dallas dominated time of possession and that's it. Then didn't dominate jack shit contrary to opinion. The Giants also made a big play or two on special teams and that is also part of the game. Dallas scored 2 Tds on 4 trips to the red zone. Giants scored 3 Tds. Giants (webster) also dropped a pick 6. In addition, the Giants pass rush was killing romo more and more as the game progressed and the dallas running game wasnt as effective second half.
My new wife was out shopping. My kids weren't born yet. I am not a drinker but I had to open a beer to calm my nerves in the first quarter. My wife walked in on Dallas' last drive. There were about 8 empty beer cans around me and I was a mess and slurring my words. What a great day!
understand Dallas completely abandoning their run game in this one. Marion Barber was killing us. Looking back at the box score, he ended with 27 carries for 129 yards (4.8 ypc), and a TD. In the first half alone he had 101 of those yards.
That Eli drive was absolutely cold blooded at the end of the first half. Like someone above mentioned, definitely in the running for one of the more important drives of his career.
I was just about to post this video the Giants posted on Facebook about Toomer's TD in the first quarter. After that game I was very confident that they were going to go all the way and had a shot at the Patriots if they made it. But just beating an overly arrogant Cowboys team like that was euphoric. No one has posted Jones' face after the final gun? Â
He made a lot of great throws on that drive but the one to Boss on 3rd down was a thing of beauty...
That Cowboys team was an absolute beast, and had manhandled us twice in the regular season.
What a game.
two of my best friends are NJ born cowboy fans. i was so convinced we'd lose that i didn't watch the game with them.
what a great day this was.

Youtube also has the full game as well.

That drive was shocking. Completely changed complexion of the game in like 40 seconds. Steve Smith and Boss came up big...
