Hope the Giants do the right thing, just unsure of Patricia because he has been with BB... And I still think BB has a lot of say on any defensive team he coaches... I personally think there is a better choice than the 3 top guys mentioned....
That he has significant experience coaching on both sides of the ball. I am also sick of the image of an offensive head coach with a huge dinner menu of plays in front of their face on the sideline. I don't see him dong that.
And not sold on McDaniels for the same reason. But...I think for what's available they brought in some good choices including the Pats coaches. Shurmur or Wilks yes. But what the hell do I know.

I'm warming to the idea of Patricia, but let's not pretend like Belichick's coordinators haven't been a disaster in general when given their HC opportunities in the NFL.

assistants is that their resumes are inflated due to their association with the best coach ever. People look at the offense and defense and think wow those coordinators must be brilliant. But, no they don't have to be brilliant because the head coach is brilliant. The coordinators come and go and the Pats don't miss a beat. Guarantee you next year this time, Peter King will be writing about that great young defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

I think he would be a great fit with a young franchise quarterback. I also like that he has been a head coach already. I think guys are better prepared the second time around.
