But the Eagles earned this win. No way I expected the Pats to give up 41 points. When you do that you don't deserve to win the game.
Pats did what I expected on O but their D spit the bit.
Makes me appreciate even more how great our two D's and wins were against them. To hold that 17-0 team to 14 is one if the best SB performances by a D ever IMO.
Looks like from now on we'll only be able to hold the 4-1 edge in SB wins over Eagles fans and not the big goose egg in Lombardi's.
Fuck me. I hope they burn Center City down tonight and Bradley Cooper falls down drunk at an after party in Minny and smashes his face while biting his tongue in half and will never be seen or heard from again.
I met Green 7 years ago the night before we beat the Pats for a second time in XLVI. We stood eye to eye. No bull shit. He’s small.
yeah he is short but that guy played the position at such a high level. He retired at 42 and on the day he left he was still one of the fastest men in the NFL. The guy was a freak and was one of those players who did it the right way. No bullshit, no trash, no incidents... a true ambassador of the game.

Absolutely. That’s one of the reasons I was so surprised. Guy drove a vw bug from the 70s until he retired. Very nice down to earth guy. Nothing but respect for him.
how some Giant fans can be happy that the Patriots lost to the Eagles. Really don't understand it.
Because it's good for the league. It doesn't effect the Giants in any way shape or form. Wishing ill will of a team just isn't how I roll unless it's the Cowboys.
I have friends that are Eagles fans that were pulling for the Giants in our SBs. I realize every fan base has a bunch of douchebag fans (some more than others) but tip your cap to them. They earned it.

Every once in a while you come across a player from another team and just say to yourself that you wish he was a Giant. You can say that also about Art Monk, Jason Witten and Jeramiah Trotter.
Wanted to root for the Patriots but ultimately couldn't. Eagles deserved to win and did. We played two good games against them this year despite all of the issues so maybe we aren't a million miles away.
Hate the Philly fans but the team seemed surprisingly human.
RE: Go ahead and tell me the league isn t a pale shadow of itself Â
Patriots would hit 30+ points, but I was very worried about their defense versus this type of offense.......
And, the Eagles had to go to great extents to win it. Using a fourth and one flea flicker to score when probability says kick the FG. Then going for it late in their own territory!!!!
I thought the one TD should have been overruled, that's obvious..and the missed FG by the Pats proved to be huge too.
Finally, enough of the Nick Foles crap. He's a backup, played terrific the last few weeks but anyone who offers anything to get him in a trade would be silly.........

Monk is nothing like Green. Not a bad guy but not engaging like green. Monks son played soccer growing up in the same program as a friend of mine. When Art came to any practice or event he had a strict don’t talk to me policy. He wasn’t mean but he was militant about not being bothered.
This is the worst night in American sports history. Â

Lol, wishing ill will on a team just isn’t how you roll...until it’s how you roll.
You are one holy rolling hypocrite.

Washed up Blount is the leading
two total scrubs Agholor and some nobody UDFA running back are the leading receivers.
The league has turned into total garbage.
+1
My already waning interest in the NFL took a big hit tonight.
An atrocious championship game. I'm glad this didn't happen back when I really cared.

Eli in Super Bowls. He just isn't........
He's won 5 super bowls, please put down the bottle
Nah, actually I might need one.
Shouldve done that twice
Yea because the Pats dynasty is over!? Didn’t know B.B. and Brady won’t be back next year..
Also....from a lifelong Giants fan I hope you enjoy how much disdain that franchise has for our team.
+ they missed a FG and 2 extra points + Cooks got knocked out of the game + Butler was benched.
Eli Manning had to watch the Eagles win a Super Bowl/NFL championship after 57

Exactly. The only way it works out is if the Giants win one in the next couple of years

They won with a backup QB, LT and without their best receiving running back. They did a nice job.

Explains the name I guess... lol

They might get there with Wentz before you know it.

Draft...

You said it. McMahon's timing for a new league may be better this time.
Nick Foles proves (again) that you do not need a high first round draft pick at QB to win championships.
Thanks much appreciated.

Real defense was legislated out of this league some time ago. Basically the NFL has become what hockey was in the 80's.
