Back to the Cook hit. What a stupid non-penalty. So it is ok to go helmet to helmet if you catch a pass, but not if it is immediately after the catch. I do not remember the rule being that way outside of 3 yards from the line of scrimmage..
Once you become a runner, which Cooks clearly was, he is not defenseless and it's not a penalty
So that makes it a better hit? If the object is to prevent head injuries, then when you are hit in the head makes no difference? Like I said, stupid non penalty. That one was more vicious than the one Gronk got two weeks ago.

Cooks is the deep threat to take the top off the defense. So, they'll have to run a lot more screens, crossing routes and slant patterns.
I know, but he’s a terrible route runner in a game for all the marbles. He’s already made 2 costly mistakes. Hopefully they revise and get the ball to smarter players.
Have control of the game, running the ball well, 5 minutes left in the 1st half, and they go for broke. Reminds me of poorly the Falcons managed the clock last year.
Game is going according to script - the opponent has made enough mistakes to keep the Pats in it, and then will get railroaded for those mistakes.
