Foles wins the first Super Bowl for the Eagles. And he gets MVP. Wentz should be ready by the Fall. Foles has been traded away once and for a good 'price'. Ultimately, the Eagles brought him pretty much out of retirement. What a steal. And he is what, 30 or 31 years old? Does anyone think that Wentz could have done as good or better[for that matter, would have won]? I think the Eagles have a dilemma on their hands. It may become particularly acute if, for example, Wentz gets the nod to start and struggles, even a little bit. The Philly fans are merciless.
This is not, I repeat, not a Phil Simms vs. Jeff Hosteller situation. The Philly fans are six sigma from the statistical mean [in a negative way] vs. Giant fans when it comes to character, patience and to be frank, intellect.
As a Giant fan, who despises the Eagles and Philly, I cannot be more delighted to see this develop. It's the thing that drama was made for and disunity flourishes in.
Esp when he's helped deliver a Super Bowl.
Foles is good insurance as a backup QB. That's what I think he is, a backup QB. A lot like Case Keenum.
Philly would be wise to keep him around until they are sure Wentz is past this injury.........
I do remember Brady struggling a bit upon his return, if I remember correctly........struggling for him anyway! LOL
Just my prediction....
Carson Wentz is the guy. He was having an MVP season and the second he steps back on the football field, he's the Eagles' starter.
People can try to make this an issue all they want - it is not going to be one.
The only dilemma the Eagles have on their hands is whether or not they want to hang onto Nick Foles for the remaining year he has on his deal or look to deal him to a desperate team who needs a QB and still doesn't have one after the draft.
Odds are that the Eagles are going to go into the 2018-19 season the same exact way they went into this one.

total agreement..
Mneanwhile, Foles is out of Cleveland within the next two years.

Because it's the Browns, it's actually not that "irrational" - but they're hiring some smarter FO people now and I honestly think they will handle this draft correctly and be a better football team next year.
They're not going to be contenders, but I could see CLE having a strong offseason and winning like 6 games next year which would be a big step forward from winning one time in 32 tries.
I don't expect them to do something as stupid as dealing away 4 overall for Foles.
