Thanks man. I guess Beckham is near 100% then - I personally haven't seen an update on his health but this confirms it. I figured he was basically all the way back but it's good to see him moving like he should be after his injury.
“He was super-excited about it, and he made some calls to get his [linemen] in there, which was great.” Cicale said.
So, I have to ask; Were Flowers and Hart not called or did they decline?
I mentioned it in one of the threads on the commercial, but they devolved into the usual shitfest. But I was genuinely curious why some were in the commercial and some were not. Pugh, Richburg, Flowers, Hart were not in the segment. I presumed it was in the case of Pugh and Richburg because they were FA, but then Fluker and Greco are also FA but they were in it. And the big mystery is who is No. 60? He is not on the roster.

It was mentioned in the article. The linemen were Brett Jones, John Greco, Chad Wheeler, D.J. Fluker and John Jerry

And who is No. 60? He is in the back left of Eli (when they are dancing in formation). I looked up the others already. I found it curious that certain players were omitted while other players were included.
Just because they weren't in it doesn't really mean anything. Flowers doesn't seem like he has a sense of humor, combined with how he ended the season on a down note.
as far as not wanting to do it. It just seems odd that players such a Pugh whom can't seem to avoid the camera would choose not to do it. He has been the face of the franchise with regards to our OL for the past 5 years.
Producing a commercial that is going to be viewed by millions of viewers and they choose OL headlined by John Jerry. I presume the NFL had a large enough budget that they weren't constrained by paying for the players time.

To be honest I didn’t even know he wasn’t in it. He’s kind of had one foot out the door all year.
But my inner grouch also finds it a little hypocritical of the nfl to promote celebratory dances that they also prohibit inactual games.
No they don’t. They started allowing them again.
i stand corrected. I missed the announcement of the rule change and outside of giants games which I pvrd and which generally lacked a lot of touchdowns, at least for us, didn't watch much football this season. interesting 180 where they went from banning to not just tolerating, but promoting celebrations.
anyways, hope you are surviving in the city of horse dung eating fans.
I think there were at least 2 short, cryptic, teaser scenes that lead up to the main spot, but I can't find those online. Does anyone know if they are available online? Thanks.

I thought it was one of the better Super Bowl commercials I've seen recently.

Yes, this was filmed a few weeks ago as my buddy was the brains behind the whole idea.
