Josh McDaniels not going to the Colts?

You have to think the succession plan from Belichick to him is in place. And soon.

He never gets another shot again. However, Irsay deserves it

Not sure how you drew that conclusion. They are a bad football team with a lot of holes. They need a hell of a lot more than Andrew Luck @ less than 100% to win 10 games next year.

Luck played 15 games, threw for 4200 yards, 31 TDs and 13 INTs. But their defense is awful and have no run game. Might take more then one year. Or they could be 14-3. Who knows anymore

I'm not especially sold that McDaniels is going to be this success the second time around. I kind of thought Mangini would be when he went to Cleveland but he never really matured as a head coach and was still very cold, aloof, and a terrible motivator (and always used his personnel poorly). Also the Browns are a black hole anyway.

McDaniels will get to work with another great QB if Luck is healthy. He still has to prove he can keep a team together on his own and earn the trust and respect of the locker room...which he lost quickly in Denver.

All of us would look great being Brady's OC. I don't think he'll be anything more than a middling coach

Pat's defense was not really good going in but the eagles was suppose to be top notch.
Even with losing Cooks early.

Was he promised to take over the Pats in a year or two? With Belichick moving to GM

I was surprised the Pats made it that far. They are not that talented. there are a few teams with better players on it. But they beat you as a team with great game plans and coaching.

The Colts should take one of the coordinators from the Eagles if this is the case. Help the world out.

Mcdaniels was seen as a jackass in Denver. If he goes to go to Indy he will join that long line of WHO?
Why would he jeopardize he career with Idiot Irsay?
He is showing that he has matured with NE
His best bet is to stay with NE, and ride out the Belichick/Brady/ Kraft storm.
Who knows? may be a very short wait time.
