LOL. If only Terry Bradshaw would rise from the dead to make this Colts announcement.
So much for the "many rumors" floating around

Will say/post anything for short term clicks.

Others at PFT may be OK.

If Tim Tebow gets an invite to camp look out. :-)
The biggest obstacle that McDaniels will have

to be successful with the Colts is that division.

There are no easy outs.

The Titans have the most dominating OL possibly in the entire league, a QB that is good and seems to be getting better, and a dominating run game that will get even better once they fully turn the keys over to Derrick Henry. Their defense is also no slouch.

The Texans has an absolute monster at QB in DeShaun Watson. If you didn't see his game against the Seahawks this year, that QB duel with Russell Wilson was one of the better games in recent NFL history. He is a guy that can put a team on his back. And of course, if they can get their defense put back together...get J.J. Watt playing back to his elite level, they are going to be a playoff team.

And then you have the Jaguars. One of the best defenses in the NFL, made the AFC championship game, has one of the bright RB stars in the game in Fournette, and as much flak as he gets, Bortles is better than people think. They nearly defeated the Patriots, missed being in the Super Bowl by really one unfortunate referee decision ruling Myles Jack down by contact when he wasn't. Not to make excuses for them, because they had their chances, but they aren't going anywhere, they're going to be good for awhile.

What Indianapolis needs to do is get a defense and some protection for Luck, because they can't win without both of those things in this division. It's very unfortunate for both Luck and McDaniels, because they have a LOT of needs on that team. And as good as Barkley would look on the Colts, they would probably be better off getting Chubb and getting that defense back to respectability, or perhaps Nelson, giving Luck an elite pass protector.

My only quibble is that Mariota is terrible and I don’t see him getting better

He was pretty good in 2016. Think the pieces around him very old, and they need to get younger at WR. Plus Mularkey isn't really a great offensive mind either.

Good point, I'm assuming Luck gets back to 100% health and I hope he does because I like watching him play.
