Will it alter his rim protection and shot blocking ability? I know his game isn't reliant on pure athleticism, so it shouldn't hinder his playmaking ability, but what else can it negate?
On a side note, we don't get to see him play in the all star game,
my only positive comment is that earlier this season it looked like Â

Athletes this young almost always come back from stuff like this.
Except he's freakishly tall and who knows how that complicates things.
He’s more like Shawn Bradley body wise than he is Kevin Garnett. Nobody that lanky and tall has ever been asked to do what he does every night-face up with the ball and make something happen.
I love him as a player but I’m really afraid that it’s just going to be this type of season every season. Miss 10 games here, miss one every other week, catastrophic injury.
It's just not right that we New Yorkers have to root for the Knicks. Â
You want KP to reach super stardom but you also want the team to be terrible. Can't have both. Of course you'd want the best possible pick but you also want the younger players to show SOMETHING. This season wasn't that bad until KP's knee just exploded.
Knicks will probably lose 50 games now. Problem is losing doesn't come from good developments.
23ppg, leading the league in blocks, legit All-Star caliber play. The injury sucks, and I hope to God he didn't blow out his knee, but there's not a whole lot else on the roster. This "winning culture" stuff is baloney. We need high picks.
Isola says KP was putting weight on his left leg Â
would be playing overseas if not signed to the Knicks!! What winning culture!! None of the young players are getting consistent minutes. Our one known piece might have just blown out his knee, fuck me. If Perry doesn’t sell off the vets, for anything and I mean anything, he is as much of a stooge as Mills. I can’t believe how Dolan can continuously hold us fans hostage by letting morons like Mills run the organization.

None of the young guys are getting minutes? Holy hyperbole...only player you could argue is willy
That and he’s hit the rookie wall —- hard. He’s already played double the minutes he’s ever played before, and there’s still a long way to go. He’s never had to play this much, this often, this long.

Not if hardaway has anything to say about it haha

Didn't even know Knicks played tonight smh..
Go Knicks!
Good pt....who are we kidding, he just tore his acl. #knicksluck

Fucking Jeff should just play Trey Willy and Damyean
What’s the worse that can happen
Develop the young guys? Nonsense, he'll be coaching for his job until the day they fire him, lol.
Good luck getting any value for him. At best he’s a 6th man. But wildly overpaid.
lip service

Has no bball iq. Wish we would trade him.

Go look at other contracts for shooting guards, he is not wildly overpaid, before this bad 4 game stretch he was playing very well..
Hornacek has this weird obsession with shitty players

Unfortunately this means nothing
What do you mean, he got 1 minute!
My friend tore his in high school and was running around on it
My crazy was friend didn't get it fixed until 2 years later, played the rest of the season, wrestled through it...dude was a machine

You say they should just cut him and move on?
