Hasn't don't squat. He's a 5x Super Bowl champion and has coached some of the best offensives in NFL history. Including the best offense in NFL history on a team that went 18-0.
when it comes to leaving a team. If I recall correctly (never a good bet with me) there were allegations of tampering (approaching potential assistants illegally) which contributed to Parcells deciding it wasn't worth it. Belichick's cheating ways don't fall far from the coaching tree.
Still, that incident wasn't as big a douche move as McDaniels'.
Parcells biggest douche move was trying to screw Belichick with the Jets. He tried to block BB from going to NE by quiting the coaching duties unexpectedly while remaining defacto general manager. BB's contract called for complete control. While the courts agreed with the Jets, Parcells then went about setting up the entire coaching staff and running the show.
I never stopped hoping Parcells would come back to the Giants, George Young kept that from happening, but I hated that he coached the Jets and especially the Cowboys; never rooted for him when he left.
Parcells happy feet probably kept him from winning another championship or 2.

What he did in Tampa was his M. O.
Not the first time. Remember 1993, he chose Boston College over Big Blue.
to bolt to the Falcons in 1987 immediately after winning the Super Bowl. He just seemed like one of those guys that would never be happy with his job, no matter what.

Not quite the same. He was two years in at Boston College and felt he owed them more time. That's kind of the opposite of what Parcells did to teams.

Parcells seemed more interested in the challenge of a rebuild more than anything else. Once he got a team to a certain level it seems to me he got bored and wanted a new challenge. This is one of the big differences between he and Belichick I think. Belichick is more interested in sustained success, Parcells at being the fixer.

Why would a Giants fan refer to that team as 18-0?
