Is Jake Peetz. He was the QB coach for the Raiders. Sean McVay was interested in bringing him in as the QB coach for the Rams. Supposedly he was going to go and be the OC for the Colts if McDaniels got the HC job there. I think that's a pretty good indication of what NFL teams think of him. Two of the best younger offensive minds in the NFL wanted to bring him onto their staff.

So he has the QB experience that Shurmur was looking for. Him & Shurmur also have the same agent which was the same agent that Josh McDaniels.
