I spent about an hour dissecting the starting current 32 QB's in the NFL and there injuries.
Here is a list of some of the better QB's who have suffered a concussion , and are still playing , not missing significant time.
#1 Jay Cutler = 4 concussions , 2006 2010 2012 2017 , also 3 concussions in college while playing at Vanderbilt , hasn't missed significant playing time.
#2 Ben Roethlisberger 3 concussions 2006 2009 2012 , only missed 1 game.
#3 Jared Goff 1 concussion 2016
#4 Alex Smith 2 concussions 2012 , 2016 , only missed 1 game
#5 Philip Rivers 1 concussion 2017
#6 Tyrod Taylor 1 concussion in 2018
#7 Joe Flacco 1 concussion 2017
#8 Cam Newton 1 concussion 2016
#9 Derek Carr 1 concussion 2014
#10 Case Keenum 1 concussion 2015
#11 Aaron Rodgers 2 concussions in 2010
#12 Carson Palmer concussion in 2016 missed 1 game
And finally Tom Brady , in 17 years of playing , he has never reported a concussion , so people think he's fine. But that isn't the truth, he has suffered multiple concussions in his career , they just aren't reporting it.
Here is a direct quote from his wife , and I linked it at the bottom of the page.
"He had a concussion last year. He has concussions pretty much every -- I mean, we don't talk about it. He does have concussions," Bundchen said on "CBS This Morning" on Wednesday. "I don't really think it's a healthy thing for a body to go through that kind of aggression all the time. That could not be healthy for you."
The bottom line is , outside of Eli Manning , any QB you draft is gonna more than likely suffer a concussion. After doing the research , many QB's can play through it , and it doesn't shorten your career.
Is it good for you? Of course not , but the FACTS are the majority of these QB's are playing with them , and still playing at a high level.
P.S. , I know the majority of you here want to have an intellectual conversation about this subject , and I will reply to you , even if you disagree with me. But if you want to start cussing at me , and calling me names , I don't respond to immature childish behavior. I only deal with respectful posters , who have an above average IQ

Brady Concussions - (
New Window )
It isn't coincidence that everytime this dude posts that it ends up being clear as day he's full of shit.
We didn't even get to Reason #3 why Rosen's unfairly trashed!
Not to beat a dead horse on that article, but he keeps saying this guy Berger is at the same college where Rodgers attended. Does he not realize that the University of California-San Francisco Medical School is not the same as Berkeley?
Basically he said players who have concussions have to be evaluated. No shit. Berger says nothing else about a concussion history past the NFL.
I wonder if that's the same "sports media" who claimed Rodgers is the most concussion prone athlete in history or the sports media that said Rodgers would never recover from a hit. And it took my 15 minutes to realize the article was posted on a site specific to mortgages and real estate.
I'm slipping.
Still waiting for that bullshit claim to get posted as you said you would yesterday when you were too fucking tired.
You just claimed I made up that over 12 current NFL QB's have suffered concussions.
Go to sports injury history , which will have conclusively proved me right and u sir wrong , FACT.
I've also shown how Roethlisberger , Smith , and Rodgers have all suffered multiple concussions and are still playing , FACT
I also have shown , not that Cutler is a good QB. But that he has had SEVEN concussions , yes SEVEN concussions and has played over 12 years , FACT
I've done the research, and a few posters keep attacking me with absolutely NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE , just spewing out whatever pops up in there mind.
So I've said what I needed to , I'm out
I was indifferent on Rosen, but after your threads the last few days...I hate him now. I hope the Giants avoid him. I think he's a big fucking bitch. Please go compile a list of current & past NFL QBs who are also big fucking bitches.

if you completely made up that Rodgers had concussions before the NFL, how the fuck are we sure you did such a crack job on compiling the list foisted on us today?

Don't go away angry.
Just go away.
Maybe you can explain to me how one can get brain trauma in football but not a concussion?
It doesn't have any evidence that Rodgers was concussed prior to entering the NFL, and there isn't any other sources that claim he had prior concussions.
Hell, the article made statements that "ESPN refers to Rodgers as the athlete most prone to concussion" and that "ESPN commentators said Rodgers would never recover from a vicious hit". And it is housed on a website for mortgages and real estate.
Completely bogus, just like the poster who gave us the plate of shit.

You were claiming that OP was a liar and that no such article existed. You posted this pretty vociferously and repeatedly. And apparently on multiple threads over days.
The OP did post such an article. He was not lying. he didnt make it up. The article exists.
You can question how legit the article is but you cant say that the OP made it up.
Furthermore, when he did post it, you quoted a different part of the article claiming it wasnt in there and ignoring the part where it was.
Then when he responded. You admitted that you read that part.
You deliberately didnt post the part that contradicted you.
Then you try and double down on your claim about the OP making it up by saying brain trauma isnt a concussion. Any fair reading of te article would conclude that Rodgers at least had a concussion in HS and college.
Now you are trying to twist the original argument into questioning the credibility of the article. Thats not what you were saying. You were saying the OP made up that the article even existed.
The article exists. The OP didnt make it up. You are wrong.
My argument was that Rodgers didn't have previous concussions. He didn't. Just because the simo fuckstick posted an article that the Onion would laugh at isn't proof.
Any fair reading of the article would determine it was bullshit before it was even posted.
- The poster who posted it claimed it was his evidence that Rodgers sustained several concussions. I posted an article from a GB paper yesterday that had rodgers say his first ever concussion was in the NFL, and it went into details.
- The poster claimed that the doctor interviewed was at Cal with Rodgers. He wan't and he isn't quoted as saying rodgers had previous concussions. The author said he "told sports media Rodgers had concussions throughout his life".
You demanded tbe article
Well there is an article. He didnt make it up
You accused him of lying. You are wrong.
The article clearly says it
"Berger, who has not treated Rodgers, but told sports media that given his history of concussions in high school, college and now in the NFL, "
And Berger is credible
“Dr. Mitchel Berger, a member the National Football League’s Head, Neck and Spine Medical Committee and chairman of the department of neurological surgery at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine.
I think it’s clear FMIC was asking for actual credible proof, not the same regurgitated “facts” that have been posted without actual legitimate sources.
So no, he didn’t post any proof whatsoever. Most of his “facts” are either misquotes or from non-legitimate sources. I don’t know how he can be defended even if you did agree with his premise that concussion history doesn’t matter.
His initial ask is for an article. Here is his second post on it
figgy..

Ironically, he was able to easily post an article detailing Brady's supposed concussions.
Yet an article that was "right in front of him" the dude can't figure out what to fucking do with it.
He is calling the OP a liar.
LOL..
FatMan in Charlotte : 10:36 am : link : reply
the article says nothing about Rodgers having a concussion prior to being drafted.
Do you think we are stupid?
Well there are 2 mentions of it. The brain trauma and the one i just posted.
I have no stance on the OPs point.
The fact is he was asked for an article and he has it.
You can question whether or not its proof, but thats not what he was asked for.
Berger who works for the NFL in the Head, Neck & Spine does have credibility.
LOL..

What a strange hill to die on.

Berger is credible, but it should be obvious that the author is lying that Berger told "sports media" anything. The author says in the same article that ESPN commentators called Rodgers "the most concussion prone athlete" and that he "wouldn't come back from a vicious hit".
It is a work of fiction, posted on a site about mortgages and real estate.
This is like defending an article from the Enquirer talking about Marisa Tomei having 7 tits and nipples.

Please provide proof that she doesn't have 7 tits and nipples.
But this is very inconclusive:
