In the linked thread.

If the run game was so bad why would you run so much? If Allen was this elite QB why not put the ball in his hands more?
Wyoming - ( New Window )
They also ran the ball pretty well

the year prior (2,800 yards, 4.6 upcoming), and Allen struggled a bit (15 INTs on 373 attempts), so I’m not completely buying his excuses.
Ypc, not upcoming.

What a weird autocorrect.

Really bad. They had a lot of designed runs with Allen. I think they did him a disservice by asking him to basically play QB and RB. He's a big kid but took some big shots...and he took them...he's a tough player.

But you had an underwhelming group of receivers and bad pass protection, makes sense to run when you can.

Completely ignore that many times when they ran the ball, either by design or QB decision, it was with Allen as the ball carrier.

He ran the ball 92 times in 11 games... that's a lot. Probably about a third of those rushes in the games they played we're Allen's.

Kind of, they did run block ok. Wyoming's receivers are bad. They had one guy who is decent, I think, and he was their 3rd leading receiver. Just in my humble opinion. I think next year they need to get him the ball more. James Price. The RBs weren't very good, either. Overall, they were severely lacking in talent on offense after the QB position.
