NFT: Hoboken home recommendations - painting and tv wall mounting

knicks3031 : 3/8/2018 5:51 pm
A couple of weeks ago I posted about potentially moving to Hoboken... well things have been moving scary quick and we're likely closing on a place sometime in April.

I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a painting company or a reliable person to wall mount a couple of TVs. I have been looking around Yelp and Google, but it's reassuring to work with a company that I know some people have actually used.

I've also never had a home painted before - any insights on what I should expect to pay or what is a reasonable estimate for a 1,100 sf apartment?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
Paint the place yourself no big deal

as for tv, Best Buy has people that will come out and mount your sets they also sell all types of brackets
Installing the brackets for a TV on the wall is simple

But if you want to skip it, the place you buy the TV will do it for a fee.

+1. If you have a drill, stud finder, screw driver you have most of what you need.

The website handy to hire someone for the tv mount.

You could paint that apartment pretty quickly and easily. If not I’d post ads on Craigslist or reddit. Or if your building has a maintenance guy offer to pay him.
If you live in a condo, post on its bulletin boards for a good

recommendation who is familiar with your building.

Find someone good ones and ask them for a quote.

I’ve used John Beers of Brushwork once, pretty good. People in the building recommended him, and he gave the best quote as well. Did a good job and on short notice.
