Boomer roasting Manish Mehta on the FAN

Saying Mo "has issues with alcohol"is synonymous with calling him an alcoholic. It was a personal attack on Mo and if you read Mehta consistently, he has not been kind to Mo (not that he deserves kindness).

I can understand that there is a difference between issues with alcohol and alcoholism, but the bigger issue is why even write it in the first place? Boomer went after him and it was a good listen, but Boomer is a Jets homer.

but listening to that interview and hearing some of the other issues with menish that have popped up over the year, the guy just seems like a smug asshole. Trying to play it of like he is doing Mo a favor, what a joke, clearly all out of spite. Someone should kick this idiot in the shin.

why would that mean he should stay away from New Orleans? Is that the only NFL city where alcohol is readily available? Sounds like he was just looking for an excuse to bring up alcohol.

I've listened to Boomer forever. I never felt he was a Jets-homer, but I do detect an anti-Giants bias (but that might be based on my own lack of objectivity regarding the Giants).

He's mentioned a bunch of times that he grew up a Colts fan (Bert Jones was his idol growing up) and now that his good buddy Frank Reich is coaching the Colts, it will probably be even more pronounced.

Now, his Rangers-bias is a whole other story....

He did say that growing up his father was a Giants fan, but I don't think being in the business he is a fan of either team. While he openly roots for the Mets, Knicks and Rangers I think football is now just his "business" and fandom if there was any in his youth has long been removed.

what’s that got to do with his interview with Mehta? Everyone on he radio today is lambasting Mehta, Jets fans and non Jets fans alike. The guy is a clown and I’m glad Boomer destroyed him. The liberties journalists take these days still have no reprocussions - hopefully a public shaming and being blackballed by an NFL team is a good start.
