ESPN is moving on from Sean McDonough as the play-by-play guy, moving him to college games full time.
The rumor is that they are going to replace him Joe Tessitore, who calls a ton of College games for ESPN.
I think this would be a good move. MNF used to be the best when I was younger and it was on ABC with Al Michaels and John Madden. It had a magical feel that it has definitely lost.
I think Tessitore will be a good addition to the booth if this is in fact true.
That call he made during the TEN/KC game where he started screaming like a girl on a play that didn't even stand was fucking embarrassing.
Any word yet on Gruden's replacement?

Peyton turned it down, I think Louis Riddick is possible though as an in-house guy
It doesn't matter who is announcing the games if you've got a couple of teams that aren't any good. It's even worse when you have a team that's 6-0 playing a team that's 0-6.

I hadnt heard that - granted i havent paid much attention. What is Peyton holding out for if not for as big a gig as they come in broadcasting? Does he want to be a GM or team President somewhere?
Good.
