I understand all of this. He's his own person, as long as he isn't partaking, who cares. Most of this is optics which is really only something for the drama queens to get dramatic over.
That being said, if you were a young kid with 100M on the line, wouldn't you be a little smarter and maybe not allow some random chick to do coke in your room? He has to know the situation better. He met some hot chick in the bar and he brings her up to his room. I'm guessing she asked if she can take a few bumps and he said fine. Or she pulls out some coke and starts to put it down. He's gotta be smarter and remove himself from that situation. It's really that simple for me.

I'm a huge Odell fan and I've defended him a ton on bbi because most of the crap he gets is unwarranted, but you cannot compare your life to his. He's a professional athlete in the public eye. He needs to know that and remove himself from any situation like this. It def shows poor judgement and immaturity.

Athletes need to insulate themselves from situations like being recorded, but let's not be entirely naive about the very different world of opportunities that are afforded to them that are completely alien to us. Especially for older sports fans who grew up in the 70s and 80s when this was rampant, you'd think there would be less surprise over the reveal that things like this do happen. I mean, the NHL has been getting negative press for high levels of cocaine use among their players as recently as two years ago.
I saw something that looked like a white line on a case or something that is lying on the bed between them but, the camera goes by so fast and out of focus - you can't identify what it is. I couldn't even tell if it was a line of anything - it could have been some sort of angle of a shadow or a reflection of something.
some other athlete you pay someone to take phones away. Roethlisburger had a cop with him in when he got in trouble. The security tapes magically vanished. Odell probably needs to make an investment in a body guard. Giants may tell him this.

one of the highest paid players in the NFL no matter if
he is innocent or not the Owners likely did a face palm .
It's the last thing people needed to see . The optics are very bad IMO .
