This is pretty spot on. And it looks like he did just what this report said he had to.....he developed his technique and got stronger.
Important note, is that he apparently bombed the combine in 2015, which is what caused him to go undrafted.
The guy was 1st team all Big 10 both his junior and senior year at Ohio State. He played left tackle as a sophomore and was the primary backup tackle for all of his career there.
Obviously a great find by Gettleman. Hope he's Big Blue by tomorrow. We need him!

And the 33 inch + arms have definitely helped him. He's a guard...but my guess is he could play tackle in a pinch.
If Giants sign him, I wonder if they ask him to play RG. Draft Nelson to play LG. Now that would be a hog mollie oline!!
You would have to think that Gettlemen likes him but it would require a trade partner, and a true conviction that the QB's or Barkley are not worth the number 2 pick. It will be a tough sell unless somebody offers and insane amount of picks this year and possibly a 1st next year.
If it happens I will be psyched. Not expecting it though.

huge fan of Nelson. I would take him at #2 if Barkley is gone.
I would also be happy with Hernandez or Wynn in rd 2.
if they fall and we don't go oline in rd 1.
I pray that Wheeler is hitting the weights very hard to get stronger for next season.
and IF we can still draft Nelson, I would like to trade up into the top 25 IF we can draft OT-Mike McGlinchey, as well as doing what it takes to also draft C-Billy Price.
Count me as one who would like to dump Flowers & Apple for their own good and the good of the team. If we can draft a good LT and sign another corner or two like, Johnson & Breeland, we should move these two for various reasons. If we can work them into these trades we'd be better off.
