The New York Knicks and Troy Williams have agreed to a multi-year deal, a league source told The Athletic. The deal is for the rest of the season and includes trigger dates for next season.

Some signs of front office life
Pep22 : 3/12/2018 4:18 pm : link
the Burke and Williams finds and subsequent signings are not needle movers but theyre good, solid indications of front office competence
If this means less Lance

Keep getting younger.
Mills and Perry

were in attendance at the Big East Tournament, so they got a nice long look at Mikal Bridges lighting it up.
Knicks roster next year should be filled with guys like this

Even if lost just out, if you find a couple to be young future bench pieces you have succeeded...

Hezonja would be my prime target in free agency
Even if a couple bust out

Really happy for him

I went to college with him. I remember one of my buddies was wasted during our last week senior year, went up to him and had a long pep talk telling him he's going to kill it in the NBA. I thought it was funny, I liked the guy, but ask any Indiana fan back then what they thought of him and you'd get lots of frustrating remarks. I honestly didn't think his game would translate to the NBA. He still has major flaws but it looks like he understands his role in the NBA (e.g. he is NOT - or never was- a PG).

If the market shrinks on him, would be a solid experiment on a 1-year deal, but I think some team would still give him a multi year deal offer. I think he's a poor man's THJR so I'm not pressed on him.
He's not terrible

and is the most athletic forward on the roster.
He's ok defensively. Not a bad player to have on the bench.

I wonder how much upside we'll see from him.

Hezonja can’t play defense. He’s not what this team needs

When the apocalypse happens, three things are going to survive: Cockroaches, twinkies, and Lance Thomas somehow still getting more minutes than he should.
What’s the deal with Burke?
Vanzetti : 3/13/2018 4:37 am : link
He is listed as a UFA next year but I remember hearing Knicks had him for another year. Is that true?
What's the most amount of money
giantsfan44ab : 3/13/2018 9:40 am : link
the Knicks could potentially carve out this summer (e.g. stretching Noah, Thomas and stretching/trading Kanter?)

Not saying it's the way to go, but thinking if they could throw an offer sheet to Randle, there may be a number LA won't be willing to go to match as it would lock up future cap space for all the stars they want to chase.
