Should we spend our money on LBs now?

I'd be surprised if they spent big on a SAM, that typically doesn't happen. Question is will they spend on a MIKE to compete with Goodson.

I don't see another big money player there. They need an adequate 2-down SAM and some backups/role players.

I think he and Cockrell would be two good under the radar signings. You cant have pro bowlers everywhere.

I'd like to see Lorenzo Carter in round 3 or Vader Esch in round 2. These guys can play.

Looking for a CB, WR and OT. Hope they can get Solder st s reasonable price. Is Robinson still in play?

I think that Carter would be a great pick at the top of Rd. 3.

and Ogletree is best suited to 4-3 WILL, imv. We'll see 3-4 looks but the back seven they're looking for speed among the upgrades.

and Richburg, in its way, means OL or 2 in FA first.

With Kennard going to Detroit now. Unless we plan on starting Herzlich...

Brilliant. Hey, let's roll out the 11 Defense and put 11 safeties on the field.

We go to a 3-4 defense with the one linebacker we have, in Ogletree....Goodson has played one good game in his NFL career....that's it folks...

If a few more of the good FA's get snatched up by other teams, this might change what direction, this team was planning to go.....

To be good, we may have to be bad for awhile...

I didn't want to see us overpay to keep him around. After we signed Herzlich back I wanted to break something. I have grown to despise all of the guys who we keep around for absolutely no reason other than to insure that we suck. Kennard is a very average player with decent intelligence but no instincts for the game. As an athlete he is stiff and mechanical. He is someone we can replace easily. He really only made a handful of plays in his time here. Time to move on. I would like to sign Jersey City native, LB-Tahir Whitehead. This guy is a lot like Ogletree, if we want more guys like Ogletree.

My money is in a diversified investment portfolio.

IS the way to go.

No way would I be looking at Soldier instead of Wiiliamson. The Giants defense of tackling was lousy. The linebackers were God-awful. Wiilliamson is a tackling machine - he is young and he can play both ways.

The Giants should be looking at Hubbard for the OLine because he won't be incredibly expensive, and look to get some other quality there-- and get this Linebacker who will all but solidify the from 7 of the defense.

So much discussion about the O-line but the LB position was beyond pathetic too. The D-Line needs support.
