Special teams need punter, kicker help. One year of the draft and free agency doesn’t rebuild this roster.

Look - not adverse to picking Rosen/Darnold, whoever - BUT the current state of this franchise is so pathetic based on how poorly this team has drafted. If they trust DG and PS then their FIRST job is improve the talent on this roster (mainly the OL).
Just shows how braindead stupid John Mara is. 2 years ago he talked about how badly the Giants have drafted, how they ranked near the bottom of premium picks remaining on the roster, highlighting how teams are primarily constructed by core draft picks in the age 24-28 range and how that was not the case. That said - he dumped Coughlin and KEPT Reese. Idiot

After Reese and Ross spent a decade slowly destroying this team, aided by McAdoo who turned the final screws to make it a total shambles, it is going to take far more than one off-season to rebuild it.
They aren't. Incompetent management bungled the analysis of their own organization and failed to vett the happy talk coming out of the GM suite. Although that is probably a little harsh concerning Mara. I think he suspected something was rotten in Denmark. The Producer though thought firing the director would improve the show even though the singers couldn't sing and the dancers tripped all over themselves.

together enough to get in, Eli would carry them to another trophy. Reese/Ross (and Mara/Tisch allowed themselves to be convinced) didn't realize that they witnessed a miracle in that run. Even in the game when they killed ATL, Kareem McKenzie could barely move, and even gave up a safety. Nicks was supernatural and they rode him and Eli to the SB win. Then Nicks got hurt, the rest of the OL aged and there were no replacements. Here we are.

Hopefully Gettlemen is more successful in the draft than Reese was Â
because that's where a GM earns his keep. I'm a believer that the foundation of a roster is built from the draft. You'll never win consistently in this league if you don't draft well. Sure it is fun to see your team sign big name free agents, but it is a 53 MAN ROSTER, and 1 or 2 guys aren't going to make or break your team.
On the owners feelings and the level of truth of the OBJ video...maybe only Collins.
Cleveland could get good real quick with OBJ joining his buddy JL...and Apple going back " home" to Ohio and fresh starts for both.
The picks/ player returns would be a helpful start and save on a big upcoming payday.

There were quite a few that vocal in their criticism of Reese. The problem was that any dissenting opinion especially of Reese was quickly countered and shouted down as being racist. David in LA was one of the biggest white night defenders of Reese. Everyone was a racist in his eyes. Like white crackers in your soup? You Racist!

The decisions taken at the end of '15 were indefensible, Tom needed to go, but "We believe Jerry is the right guy to lead us to the next level..." or some such from ownership. Based on friggin' what?
