I love the stuff, enjoy all different styles, and heat levels. I have 2 questions, First: Has anyone else noticed a change in Frank's Red Hot lately? I like it, but it seems like it has been ridiculously salty lately. I don't know if the recipe has changed, but it just isn't the same.
Second question: What hot sauces are you enjoying lately?
My go-to boutique hot sauce is anything by Big Reds, link below. The ghost pepper one is outstanding on beef. God's Wrath, I think it is. It's really not too spicy.

If Im out of this stuff, Ill go with El Yucatan, Tapatio or Cholula
Poblano Hot Sauce - ( New Window )
with plenty of bite. Too bad Golden Krust stopped making their red pepper scotch bonnet sauce. I thought this was the best. For tossing wings in a pan with butter Franks is my favorite.
When eating Mexican I prefer Chulula other wise Tabasco is my default.
Smoked Bandit is my favorite while not the hottest the flavor is great.

I like an artisnal lime based hot sauce made with peppers and garlic or my own old fashioned fiery blend.
Tapatio for eggs/potatoes, El Yucateo Habanero for Micheladas, Frank's for chicken and ground beef.
Also keep Asian Fresh Hot Chile Pepper, Sambal Oelek and Calabrian Chiles in the fridge.
Still have some really hot Hatch Green Chiles in the freezer that I roasted last fall. Usually they wouldn't last this long but they are really hot. Just defrosted some to use in a White Turkey Chile.

I've gone and ordered a 12 pack of Poblano, and a mix of the Big Red's.
I plan on seeking out the NJ made sauces as well. I also like another NJ made sauce called Born To Hula. A bunch on unique tasting sauces. Here's a link to them.

One hot sauce I tried that was really good is zatarain's cajun hot sauce.
I used to buy their dirty rice mix, and it is really good and easy to make, so I found the hot sauce and tried it. Nice blend of flavor and heat.
