Pick anything you want. Trade up! Trade down! Trade OBJ! Trade Eli!
You don't have to support what you describe.
Here's mine:
The Browns take Darnold #1. We then learn that the rumors are true . . . little Bill loves Rosen. The Giants trade the #2 pick to New England for #23, #31, #43, #63, and first round picks in 2019 and 2020.
I would oppose this, but can't discount a blockbuster trade if the Browns take Darnold.
+1
Dilly Dilly!
Chill Doll is batter!
1. Drafting Baker Mayfield at 2.
2. Drafting Mincah Fitzpatrick at 2.
Those two scenarios would surprise (and frustrate me).
Break your hand and be known as 'China Doll Poster' on BBI ;)
and at the press conference, DG would say they received no good offers
Patriots moving into the top ten I expect a draft day surprise from them.....
#5 will get us the leftover out of those 2.
I would be ok with a Trade with Buffalo as long as we get two 1's, two 2's and a 3rd and a 2nd next year.
If somehow NE is the trade partner then it better inckude both 1's, 2's and Gronkowski.
I mean, crazy thought but it is POSSIBLE that each of us is wrong in our evaluations and rankings despite our thorough youtube research. And maybe more than one player would work out for us.
Bad: Take Barkley at 2
Fitz. DT will be fine. But it's about Collins doing other stuff in the field.
Feed the betcher.
Role players for O.
This is the answer. As wasteful as taking Barkley would be - and that would be very poor draft management, especially this year with such a bumper crop of RBs - taking a G at the #2 spot would be a colossal mistake.
Actually, Fitzpatrick would be a stunner too.
I could throw in crazy stuff like "Lamar Jackson at #2" but we all know that's not happening.
You'd be stunned by what most other people expect?
That would surprise me.
I only see Mayfield at #2 if Jints Central trades the pick.
Mayfield is sort of the last thing Jints Central needs, especially if they keep OBJ. Why? The drama potential is enormous. Big personalities, big city, big media...big distraction. Now, if they want to own the back pages, then it may be an interesting business move. If they want to keep the best environment for football success...? Don not draft Mayfield.
That is my shocker pick as well but would not be mad either ... still would rather have Barkley @ 2.
