""The Mets found Brandon Nimmo playing time, but not the kind he wants.
The 25-year-old outfielder, who has hit well but was squeezed out of the lineup since Michael Confortoís return, is going to Triple-A Las Vegas as the team calls up right-hander Corey Oswalt, the Mets announced Tuesday.
Nimmo is 3-for-9 with a .600 OBP in six games this season, the 2011 first-round pick finally showing signs of emerging. Nimmo has been reduced to pinch-hitting duties, though, with Conforto activated last week. The Mets have Juan Lagares as a fourth outfielder, who has been entering games late as a defensive presence."
Unbelievable. They could use the DH spot in the worse way.
